This is a sculpture by a great artist in my area,Jason Basden.We have a couple of his sculptures in our home and simply love his work.We enjoy seeing his stuff as we go to the gallery crawls in the city.
Both of his sculptures we own are in the massage studio.....one is a dragon lady while the other is a priestess.....sometimes artwork gives off a certain energy and these two sculptures certainly do.Dragon Lady definitely has a chi component and The Priestess is definitely like a guardian angel watching over the room.I don't think Jason knows there is an amazing spiritual presence with his work.Sometimes I feel that art work really is not like other inanimate objects....there is a soul source connected to it in a most subtle way.This idea is taken from the Gospel According to Gaye.
