Happy 2008!

So here we are at another year..my head is spinning!
Since I last posted in December I have turned another year older, driven to the coast of NC and back, worked on New Years day(sis boo)and rung in the New Year at a small New Years party.Actually we left the party at 10:00 and rung it in watching Kathy Griffen on Bravo...that is, when I was not looking at my eyelids.I have rehearsed and presented a Christmas nativity and Christmas mass at work.I have confessed to enjoying watching Tiger Woods play golf.I teared up when I watched Vinny Testaverde make his final snap as quarterback for the Carolina Panthers after he announced his retirement.I sat on the screened in porch drinking wine and smoking cigars with my nephew and his grandmother...a neat little women probably in her 80's visiting from England. I made it through Christmas with an aluminum Christmas tree in the living room instead of my mother's huge 6 footer.I love the retro look and feel the silver tree brought with it....brought back the longing of a simpler Christmas.

What is up for the new year?
To be in better contact with friends and family...to take some time to work on house projects....to surround our home with creativity and beauty....to continue to explore my spiritual pursuits and healing pursuits ...to get more organized financially...to just get more organized...finish ceu's for my massage license (something that happens every 2 years)and to try Guinness ...
