Summer reading

People say I don't get summer reading..maybe I don't....I love to read so I always have a few or 10 going at the same time....and it is not uncommon for me to read about Halloween in the summer....or look up fall recipes.....still I know there are tons of people who like to read in the summer more than any other time of year.Well here is a list of the books which are located on my nightstand.
Farming As Spiritual Discipline-Ragan Sutterfield ( doesn't this name sound like an author? great insights too!)
The Practice of the Presence of God by Brother Lawrence...everyone needs a Brother Lawrence in their lives.
Mythology by Edith Hamilton...(kinda heavier)
Club Dead by Charlaine Harris ( this series is what True Blood the HBO series is based on)
Dancing Wu Li Masters: An Overview of the New Physics- Gary Zukav ( same guy who wrote Soul Stories)
Your Inner Physician and You (about Craniosacral Therapy) by John Upledger
Return To Stillness: 20 Years with a Tai Chi Master-Trevor Carolan ( another used bookstore find...but also something I have a profound interest in)
Muzak- The Hidden Messages in Music-Stephen Barnes...I'll admit it...I am a Muzak geek....there was a time after they moved to Fort Mill S.C. and before my current employment where I felt like the dream job for me would be a music architect at Muzak...branding putting together play list for companies....this was given to me by my sister....she knows me so well.....Muzak has actually become a cool company...right up there with Apple and Google...of course in my most humble opinion.
So....Happy Summer reading!
