Summer reading

I am always interested in the way folks talk about summer reading. Is it different from winter reading?Am I going to want to read about special subjects only in the summer. What if I want to read about Halloween in the summer and how to grow veggies in the winter.I know for some, summer is a great time to catch up on reading.I was just wondering if what I read in the summer was really summer fair.
With learning how to grow an organic garden at work, certainly Square Foot Gardening by Mel Bartholomew falls in the realm of summer reading.
Here are the other things sitting on my bedside table just waiting to be flipped open:
Boomer Burden (dealing with your parents lifelong accumulation of stuff) by Julie Hall, aka The Estate lady
2012-the return of Quetzalcoatl by Daniel Pinchbeck
Our Purpose by Al Gore
Silent Spring-Rachel Carson
The Birth of Venus-Sarah Dumont
The United States of Arugula-D.Kemp
The Soul Of Rumi-Coleman Barks
Eat Pray Love-Elizabeth Gilbert
New Earth-Eckhart Tolle
Art of Pilgrimage-Phil Cousineau.

Hey Gaye, guess who?
Remember Susan Parsons?
Well, long MIRACULOUS story. I'm married with children--and my husband and I are pastors in WAYCROSS, of all places! My life took many strange turns over the past two-plus decades, not unlike yours, believe me. Anyway, look me up on myspace.com/pastorsuz. I'm old now, of course... Write me at susan_sumner@bellsouth.net. We've got some major catching up to do! --Susan Sumner
